Contacting Potter's Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District

Slow No Wake

Due to the large amount of rain this spring we are instituting slow-no-wake until further notice. This is done to protect erosion of the shorelines and to prevent floating bogs from the wetlands that we have had in the past. The dam is being kept clear and is at full capacity. We will work hard to ensure a normal boating season.

Welcome

On behalf of Potter's Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District Board, I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the lake. We are confident you will quickly fall in love with our hidden gem and enjoy the many benefits of lake living.

Potter Lake is perfect for a wide variety of activities, from fishing and bird watching to water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and so much more. Our lake residents make up most of the lake traffic. Miramar Homeowners Association members have lake access and exclusive use of the 3 Parks located on the north side of the lake. In addition, the DNR boat launch is located at the southeast end of the lake with a limited number of parking spaces.

Potters Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District has adapted Lake Rules and Ordinances which are outlined on the Lake Rules page. We ask that you and your guests follow these simple rules to ensure a safe and happy experience for all lake residents.

If you have recently purchased a property on the lake, please email info@potterslake.org your name, email, property address and phone, or fill out the form below. We will then add your email address to our lake district mailing list. We use this email list as our primary source for notices, news and other information about activities on the lake. Rest assured your information will not be sold or shared. Please feel free to contact me at info@potterslake.org or visit the Commissioner's page for additional contact information.

We look forward to seeing you on the water!
Sincerely,
Christine Celley
Chairman
